Solomon B. Breedlove

With heavy hearts but cherished memories, we announce the passing of Solomon B. Breedlove, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, and steadfast friend. Solomon departed this world peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving a legacy of love and service that will forever be treasured by those who knew him.
Born on March 11, 1948, in Bainbridge, GA, Decatur County, Solomon was the beloved son of the late Semoulia and Pannella Breedlove. Raised in a family that valued hard work and dedication, Solomon embodied these principles throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents, his beloved daughter Renee Breedlove, and his brothers Earl and Marlon Breedlove, whose memories he held dear.
Solomon's journey through life was marked by remarkable dedication and quiet strength. A proud graduate of Hutto High School Class of 1968. He built a fulfilling career as a truck driver. Solomon worked as an Owner/Operator for Schwerman Trucking for 25 years, and later, he continued his passion for driving with Oxford Construction for another 20 years before retiring. His work ethic was unmatched, and his commitment to his profession was evident to all who knew him.
In his personal life, Solomon was blessed with a loving family. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Brenda Campbell Breedlove, who stood by his side with unwavering love and support. Solomon's legacy continues through his son, Deshawn Breedlove; his stepson, Mario Owens and his wife Janice; and his stepdaughter, Cynthia Campbell. He is also survived by his brothers, Lorenzo Breedlove and his wife Deborah, and Tyrone Breedlove and his wife Stephanie. Solomon's six sisters, Annor Doris Jefferson and her husband Rudy, Joan Young and her husband MacArthur, Linda B. Howard, Yvonne B. Hawk, Starlia Johnson and her husband Willis, and Pamela Breedlove, and two aunts Jimmy Lou Richards and Ruby Lee Flanders will forever hold him in their hearts. Additionally, he leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Mary Breedlove and Lorrie Breedlove, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren, and beloved friends who enriched his life.
Solomon's faith was a cornerstone of his life. From a young age, he was a dedicated member of New Salem Freewill Baptist Church, where he served as both a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. His quiet demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand were hallmarks of his character, and he found joy in helping others, often fixing anything from lawn mowers to cars with a patient and kind spirit.
A celebration of Solomon's life will be held on May 2, 2026, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2714 Thomasville Road, Bainbridge, GA 39817. Services will commence at 11:00 a.m., offering family and friends an opportunity to gather in remembrance and gratitude for a life well-lived.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Riverchase Rehab Facility of Quincy, FL, and Vitas Hospice of Tallahassee, FL for their compassionate care and support during Solomon's final days. Their dedication ensured that Solomon was cared for with dignity and respect.
As we bid farewell to Solomon B. Breedlove, we celebrate a life filled with love, humility, and service. His memory will forever be a guiding light, reminding us of the power of kindness, the strength of family, and the beauty of a life lived with purpose. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
