Born on May 5, 1955, in the quaint town of Elgin, Texas, Rosetta was a beacon of warmth and kindness from the very beginning. She was the cherished daughter of Gruder Tolliver and Rosi Mae Parker, who precede her in death, along with BJ Milligan, her devoted husband Romont Bailey, her infant son, and her brothers Matthew and Larry Tolliver. Though their loss echoed in her heart throughout her life, we take solace in knowing that Rosetta has now been reunited with her beloved family. Her passion for crossword puzzles and her dedication to studying the Bible reflected her inquisitive nature and deep spirituality, traits that she nurtured throughout her life. A devoted mother, Rosetta is survived by her loving son, Arthur Ray Lackey, and his wife, Reene, who were the center of her world. Her unwavering support and nurturing spirit extended to her brother, Gruder Tolliver, and her dear sister, Joyce Green, and her husband, Darrell Green. Their lives, enriched by Rosetta's love and guidance, are a testament to the strength of the bonds she so effortlessly cultivated. Rosetta was a woman of remarkable grace and resilience, qualities that shone brightly in her dedication to her family. Her home was often filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking, as she took great joy in preparing meals and hosting family gatherings. These moments of togetherness were the heartbeats of her life, where laughter and love flowed freely. Her greatest joy was her three grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye.
