Simeon Charles King

In loving memory of Simeon Charles King, who was a beacon of light and kindness to all who knew him. Born on August 14, 2002, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Simeon brought joy and warmth to everyone around him. He departed this life on July 26, 2026, leaving a legacy of love and compassion. Simeon was the cherished son of Angel LaFaith Harper and Marvin Dewayne King Sr. He was a precious grandson to Leola Doll and was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Samuel Charles Williams and Willie Joyce Harper. His uncle Paul Dean Saunders, brother Marvin King Jr., aunts Arangio Ann Harper and Debra J. Harper. Simeon was a beloved brother to Dartavious Lamont Young Sr. and his wife Victoria, Devonte Boles, Marica King, and Imani Holloway. His family extended to his dear aunts Evelyn J. Harper (Mac), Pamela M. Saunders (Cory), Janice King, and Betty Carey, as well as his uncle Stu Osborne. Simeon was also adored by his nephews Dartavious Lamont Young Jr., Sai Yair Lamont Young, and Kian Blyden-Stewart. His life was rich with the love of his cousins Gary, Marcu'ces (Marc), Marlyndi (Boobie), Antonio, Mashari, Anshun, Ashley, Shamar, Meyon, Miya, Kiyami and many second cousins including Tyree, Marshae, Gerliyah, Tyrion, Cayden, Jayden, Mieva, Jordan, Zamarion, Amari, Zacari, Mylah, Nazyiah, Zayaire, Marcu'Cesia, Meya and Maurece. Simeon's educational journey took him through Liberty High School and Beacon Academy of Las Vegas, where he was known for his gentle spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. His career in warehouse work and moving services was marked by his work ethic. Simeon's love for music, particularly Michael Jackson and emo rap, resonated deeply within him and those close to him. Known for his loving and kind nature, Simeon was always ready to lend a helping hand to those he cared about. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel special and valued, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many. A viewing to celebrate Simeon's life will be held on September 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, located at 2457 N Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89108.
