In Loving Memory

Sierra Rose Crook
January 30, 1996 — August 28, 2026
Sierra Rose Crook was 30 years young, born on January 30, 1996, in El Paso, Texas, to Dolores Carrol and David Crook. She was the absolute best kind of person to have in your corner—a daughter, a incredible friend, and someone who somehow managed to be full of deep wisdom one minute and completely, delightfully goofy the next.
Sierra spent most of her life in Texas, took a short detour through Louisiana, and spent her last years splitting time between Minnesota and North Dakota. She fit in wherever she went and left a trail of friends behind her. Sierra was vibrant, approachable, and had that rare ability to walk into a room and instantly lighten the mood.
She loved art, music, animals, kids, and finding a way to make literally anything fun. If you knew Sierra, you knew her energy. You knew her dirty jokes, her endless vault of SpongeBob memes and references, and the comfort of a meal cooked straight from her heart. She worked all kinds of jobs over the years, but her real knack was just connecting with people.
Sierra was loved deeply by her chosen family—the people who showed up, stood by her, and became her home. She leaves behind a massive network of friends who meant the world to her, including Trin, Lilith, Andie, and Shae, along with her three cherished nephews, Jordan, Oaklee, and Alastor.
While her absence leaves a massive hole for everyone who loved her, there's comfort in knowing she is finally back with her daddy, David, whom she missed fiercely since his passing in 2021.
Sierra lived loud, loved hard, and made life a lot more fun for the rest of us. She’s going to be missed beyond measure.
