With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shirlon Marie Bickham, who left this world on July 28, 2026. Born on January 12, 1960, Shirlon lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness, leaving a legacy that will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Shirlon was the beloved daughter of Regina and Sedrue Bickham. Her mother, Regina, along with her siblings Linda Burton, Nellie Bickham, Jane Price, Hendrick Bickham, Charlie Bickham, Dexter, Kenneth Bickham, Lawrence Bickham, Otis Bickham Jr, and Larry Bickham, predeceased her and now welcome her into eternal rest. She is survived by her two devoted children, Denisha Bickham and Chadric Bickham, who carry forward her spirit and values. Her loving presence will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Shune Bickham, Relena Hicks, Alexis Bickham, Jaden Bickham, Joshua Daniel, Kayla Bickham, and Chadric Bickham Jr. Shirlon is also survived by her dear sisters, Majoy Roberts and Bessie Bickham, who will continue to honor her memory and share her stories. Shirlon was known for her radiant smile and generous heart. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome, and her kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Her home was a sanctuary where love and warmth were always abundant, and her laughter often filled the room. She had a way of connecting with people that made them feel valued and appreciated. A celebration of Shirlon's life will take place on August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Plainview Church of Christ Holiness USA, located at 24649 Vernon School Road, Mount Hermon, LA 70450. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love, prayers, support, and presence during this time.
