February 23, 1931 — October 27, 2026
Shirley Nadine Bryant, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was lovingly ushered into her heavenly home on October 27, 2026. Born on February 23, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the cherished daughter of Fred and Ethel Beck.
Shirley's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and memories that spanned 95 remarkable years. Her journey was deeply intertwined with her family, whom she treasured above all else. She was a devoted mother to her six children: Raymond Hall, Danny Hall, Gerald (Lisa), Jack Coley Reaves (Debbie), Laura Bradley, and Karen Teske (Terry). Shirley's love and care extended to her sister, Dorothy Stewart (David), and her legacy lives on in the hearts of her 20 grandchildren.
An enthusiastic spirit, Shirley found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a fondness for visiting the casino and picking up scratch-offs from her favorite 7-11. Her love for family gatherings was unparalleled, and she was the heart of every get-together, sharing stories and laughter with those she held dear. Shirley's passion for photography began at the tender age of 12, and she became the guardian of family memories, eagerly sharing her boxes of photographs and stories, ensuring the family history was never forgotten.
Shirley's interests were as varied as they were endearing. A lover of Honey Nut Cheerios and collector of jewelry, she also delighted in gathering coins and dollar bills marked with birth years, turning them into cherished keepsakes. Her generous heart and keen listening ear made her a confidante to many, and she was known for her graceful dance moves and boundless love.
Preceded in death by her parents, son Dennis, grandson Leigh, granddaughter Melissa, and siblings Josphine, Merle, Leon, Neal, Raymond, Diane, and Linda Rose, Shirley's enduring spirit will live on in the lives of all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to commemorate her life. The family kindly suggests contributions in Shirley's memory be made to a charity of your choice. They extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Resthaven Cemetery for their compassionate care and support.
Shirley Nadine Bryant's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the joy of family. Her legacy will be cherished by all whose lives she touched, and her memory will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
