Shirley K. Brenneman

Shirley Kathryn Brenneman, 90, passed away peacefully on August 23rd, 2026, surrounded by family. She was the wife of the (late) Dale D. Brenneman, to whom she was married for 54 years before his passing in 2008. Born in York, Pennsylvania on April 2nd, 1936. She was the daughter to the (late) Allen Clair Spangler and (late) Hazel Marguerite (Strayer) Spangler. Shirley is survived by her children, a son Dale A. Brenneman and his wife, Cheryl of Virginia Beach, VA; a son Timothy S. Brenneman and his wife, Patti of York; a daughter Lauri L. (Brenneman) Miller and her husband, Keith of Dover; a son Thomas D. Brenneman and his wife, Karen of York; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa R. Brenneman (widow of her late son Steven D. Brenneman) of York. She has fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen M. Brenneman (at birth); a son Gregory L. Brenneman; a son Steven D. Brenneman; and a brother Allen C. Spangler, Jr.
