Born on September 21, 1947, Shirley spent her life creating a vibrant and loving environment for all who knew her. Shirley's life was a testament to love and resilience. For 47 beautiful years, she shared her heart with her devoted husband, Marvin Land. Together, they nurtured a blended family, raising their children Kimberly Smith, Charlie Land, Richard Land, and Dana Root in a home filled with laughter and warmth. Shirley was proud to be the grandmother of Karissa, Ashley, Tyler, Dayton, Allen, Justin, Geordan, Andreah, Abbie, Alli, Cody, and Clay, and the great-grandmother to 34 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. A true partner in life and work, Shirley stood beside her husband in their family-owned business, where her unwavering support and enthusiasm were invaluable. She was known affectionately as the business's #1 fan, a role she embraced with pride and dedication. Shirley's love for life was evident in her passion for decorating and celebrating holidays. Halloween held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in transforming her home into a festive haven that brought joy to all who visited. Her creative spirit and warmth touched everyone around her, making each holiday a memorable occasion. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice, honoring Shirley's generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Though Shirley has left this earthly realm, her spirit remains with those she loved. In the words of her family, "Those we love do not go away, They walk beside us every day."
