Sherrie Elizabeth Ellis(Mann)

February 18, 1968 — March 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sherrie Elizabeth Ellis (Mann), who departed this world on March 13, 2026, at the age of 58. Sherrie bravely faced her battle with cancer, surrounded by the love and support of her family, leaving behind an indelible legacy of warmth, courage, and joy. Born on February 18, 1968, Sherrie was the beloved daughter of the late Terry Caney Ellis and Cynthia Jo Nave, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in heaven. Sherrie’s life was a testament to resilience, passion, and love, which she shared generously with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Sherrie was a proud and spirited fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. Saturdays in the fall were sacred; they were filled with the sound of her enthusiastic cheers, as she donned her orange proudly, cheering on her Vols with unwavering devotion. Her love for the team was only rivaled by her love for life’s simple pleasures. An adventurer at heart, Sherrie found solace and exhilaration on her motorcycle, where the open road was her sanctuary. She relished the freedom and peace it offered, and it was in these moments that she felt most alive. Family was the cornerstone of Sherrie’s life. Her happiest times were spent by the pool, surrounded by the laughter and joy of her grandchildren. She delighted in their company, cherishing every splash and smile, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Sherrie's courage, strength, and grace through life's challenges were an inspiration to all. Her spirit was as bright as the sun, and her capacity for love knew no bounds. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion, which will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. A celebration of Sherrie’s life will be held on March 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM. We invite all who loved her to join us in honoring a remarkable life well-lived, as we gather to remember the joy she brought into our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sherrie’s memory to a cancer research foundation of your choice, in hopes of finding a cure for the disease she fought with such bravery. May Sherrie find peace and comfort in the arms of her parents, and may her spirit continue to guide and inspire us all. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
