October 26, 1981 — June 23, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sheri Austin, who left this world unexpectedly on June 23, 2026, at the age of 44, after complications following gall bladder surgery. Sheri was born on October 26, 1981, in Milwaukee, where she spent her formative years surrounded by the love and guidance of her beloved grandparents, Chuck and Sharon Austin. Sheri's life was marked by resilience and a profound sense of compassion. Even in the shadow of tragedy, having lost her entire immediate family in 2015, she held fast to the values instilled in her by her grandparents. Sheri was a woman of immense kindness, known for her enormous heart and a steadfast belief in the power of family. Though life did not grant her the family she so deeply yearned for, she carried her love for the idea of family in every interaction, enriching the lives of those around her. A determined and diligent scholar, Sheri obtained her HSED in 2001 and pursued further education in Office Management and Accounting. Her career was marked by her commitment and professionalism, reflecting the same warmth and integrity she exhibited in her personal life. Sheri is survived by her dear uncle Rick Austin and cherished aunt Deb Schultz, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Though she had no children of her own, her legacy is carried on by the family she chose and by those whose lives she touched with her generosity and spirit. A private funeral ceremony will be held in accordance with Sheri's wishes, allowing those closest to her to celebrate her life in an intimate setting. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sheri's honor to $666Bandit, a cause that aligns with her values and beliefs. Sheri had an unwavering belief in karma, often reflecting on its principles. Her last words are a testament to her introspective nature and the depth of her wisdom: "The truth shall set you free. Those that deny the truth, create their own prison, where they shall remain for all eternity. To never experience joy or happiness again. Not in this life, or any after this one. But to know nothing but pain and sorrow and loss, over and over and over again. So they feel everything I did, every day." In her final days, Sheri found solace and companionship in the kindness and support of Angie, Harley, Cedric, Shawn, and Jeremiah, to whom she expressed her deepest gratitude, saying, "Thank you... You made my last days bearable." Sheri's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her life was a testament to the enduring power of love and the unyielding strength of the human spirit. Rest in peace, dear Sheri. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
