Shellynn Lyons, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at the age of 45, after a courageous battle with kidney failure. Born on July 8, 1980, in Fort Worth, Texas, Shellynn brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered. Her life was a testament to resilience, love, and the enduring power of family and community. Shellynn was the beloved daughter of Linda Lyons and the late Harold Lyons, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother Linda, and her siblings, Harold Lyons Jr., Sunyette Lyons, Herbert Lyons, and Ixtapa Jefferson, all of whom she held close to her heart. Her family was her foundation, and she cherished the time spent with them, always bringing laughter and love into every gathering. A proud graduate of Trimble Tech High School, Class of 1998, Shellynn was known for her vibrant spirit and her dedication to those she loved. Her high school years were filled with friendships and accomplishments, setting the stage for a life filled with meaningful connections and community service. For 15 years, Shellynn was an active member of Newbreed, where she found a community that shared her values and passions. Her commitment to Newbreed was a reflection of her generous and giving nature, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word to those in need. Shellynn had a zest for life that was infectious. She found joy in the simple pleasures, such as playing bingo and visiting casinos, activities that brought her immense happiness and relaxation. Her laughter would echo through the halls of bingo nights, and her excitement at the casino was a delight to witness. These hobbies were not just pastimes but opportunities for her to connect with others and share in their joy. Though her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, Shellynn's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence. Her life was a testament to perseverance and the beauty of a generous spirit. In accordance with her family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Shellynn's life and legacy. During this time, her family and close friends will gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many lives with her warmth and compassion. Shellynn Lyons will forever be remembered for her unwavering strength, her infectious laughter, and her boundless love for her family and friends.
