Shelia Renee Harge
September 20, 1966 — June 4, 2026
With profound sadness and love, we announce the passing of Shelia Renee Harge, who departed this world on June 5, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on September 20, 1966, in the charming town of Eufaula, Alabama, Shelia lived a life filled with love, grace, and enduring strength, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Shelia was the cherished daughter of the late Winnie Sue Brown and Jimmy Davis. Her mother, Winnie, preceded her in death, yet Shelia carried her mother’s teachings and unwavering spirit throughout her life. She leaves behind her devoted spouse, Robert Lowery, whose partnership and love provided a solid foundation for their family.
Shelia's legacy continues through her seven beloved children: Yakesha Fuller (Tamakis Fuller), Takera Brown, Brandon Harge, Rickey Harge, Shantel Harge, Monique Harge, and Natasha Harge. Shelia also embraced Maunika Cutchen as a special daughter, nurturing her with the same love and care. Her heart extended further to her stepsons, Rickey Feagins Jr. and Kelcey Feagins, each holding a special place in her heart.
A woman of immense warmth and kindness, Shelia was surrounded by a family that adored her. Her sister, Kathy Davis, alongside her husband Terry, stood as a pillar of support and love throughout Shelia’s life. The essence of family was sacred to Shelia, reflected in the lives of her 21 grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews, each carrying a piece of her heart and spirit within them.
Shelia's life was a testament to the power of love and resilience. She was a beacon of hope and joy, her infectious smile and compassionate nature leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was known for her selflessness, always putting the needs of her family and friends above her own. Her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, warmth, and a sense of belonging to all who entered.
Shelia's journey came to a peaceful end at home, surrounded by her loving family. Her passing leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those she has left behind.
A service to celebrate Shelia's life will be held on June 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Franklin Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor a remarkable woman whose life was a blessing to all who knew her.
While we mourn the loss of Shelia, we find comfort in the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us of the power of a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Shelia’s name to a charity close to her heart, ensuring her compassionate spirit continues to touch lives even in her absence.
