Sheila Majorie Primus

April 16, 1934 — May 11, 2026

In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Sheila Primus, a woman of grace, strength, and enduring love, she peacefully fell asleep in death on May 11, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on April 16, 1934, Sheila was a guiding light to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was rooted in love, faith, resilience, and devotion to the people she cared for most. Sheila shared a beautiful life with her late husband, Samuel Primus, who preceded her in death in 1992. Together, they built a faith-centered home rooted in biblical values, love, and devotion to Jehovah. Their union was blessed with ten children: Prince, affectionately known as Danny; Samuel; Michael; Nathaniel; Esther; Gabriel; Benjamin; Jonathan; Deborah; and Phillip. She also lovingly welcomed her children’s spouses into the family, including Kathy, wife of Gabriel; Carleen, wife of Benjamin; Charles, husband of Esther; and Keno, husband of Deborah. Sheila was also a proud and devoted grandmother to Roy, Kimberly, Marlon, Eston, Eric, Shelly-Ann, Quennie, Rickesha, Nikesha, Kevon, Patience, Ben Jr., Karl, Marcus, Keshia, Saviour, Blessings, Rawl, Deshawn, Nikki, Shaquille, and many other beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her wisdom, prayers, and loving guidance left a lasting impact on generations of family members who will forever carry her love with them. She was also deeply loved by her brothers Roy, Lloyd, Linden, Charlie, George, Dennis, Albert, and Sammy, and her sisters Telma and Maureen. She also leaves behind beloved in-laws Joyce, wife of Lloyd; Eyosence, wife of Albert; and Desmond, husband of Telma, along with a host of extended family and loved ones. Sheila will always be remembered for her loving heart, kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to Jehovah. Her faith was not only something she spoke about, but something she lived daily through the way she cared for others and remained steadfast through every season of life. She also leaves behind cherished friendships with Bryan and Denese Blackburn, Jamaal Roberts, Charles Hilaire, Shaquille Pope, Kathy Dass, Gillian Roberts, and many others whose lives were touched by her kindness and love. Though she is no longer with us physically, Sheila’s, love, faith, and legacy will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family, friends, and all those blessed to know her.
