Sheila Sue Schneider

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheila Sue Schneider, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Born on May 23, 1941, in Clarksburg, WV, Sheila peacefully departed this world on August 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. Sheila was the beloved daughter of Paul and Sue Barron. She grew up with a strong sense of family, instilled by her parents, which she carried throughout her life. Preceded in death by her brother Paul (Bud) Barron Jr. and her cherished son Bradley Schneider, Sheila is now reunited with them in eternal peace. A devoted wife, Sheila married Bob Schneider, with whom she shared a beautiful journey and three wonderful children. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she took immense pride in raising her children, Scarlett and Jeff Schneider, who survive her, along with their father Bob. Sheila also leaves behind her brother Bill Barron and his wife Cathy, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who admired her greatly. Sheila’s heart was vast, and she cherished her role as a grandmother to Kevin, David, Bryce Schneider, and Sydney Schmidt. Her joy only multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Caleb, Baker, and Parker, who each held a special place in her heart. An alumna of Victory High School, Sheila continued her education at a business school, preparing herself for a life of service and dedication. Her professional career saw her excel in retail sales and banking, yet her first and foremost commitment was always to her family. Those who had the privilege of knowing Sheila would describe her as a strong, kind, and loving soul. Her unconditional love and positive spirit inspired everyone around her. Sheila's presence was a beacon of hope and resilience, and her kindness knew no bounds. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held to honor Sheila’s life on August 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a woman who brought so much joy to the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, in remembrance of Sheila’s generous spirit. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Terra Bella and Hospice Care for their compassionate care and support during Sheila's final days. She will be remembered forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
