Shawnna was a beloved mother to her three children: Briar Long, 32, Miranda Long, 30, and Sarah Sender, 28. Her fierce love and dedication to her family were unmatched, and she found immeasurable joy in her role as a grandmother to her five adored grandchildren. The laughter and warmth she shared with them will be treasured memories for years to come. With a career dedicated to caring for others, Shawnna worked as a caregiver in memory care, as well as providing in-home care. Her gentle touch and empathetic nature brought comfort and companionship to the elderly, a testament to her selfless spirit and her love for getting to know new people. She had the gift of making everyone feel special and valued. Shawnna's love for life extended beyond her work. She was spunky, sassy, and fierce, qualities that were as endearing as they were inspiring. Never one to shy away from speaking her mind, she could be firm when needed, yet her heart was always filled with kindness and generosity. Her passion for the beach and the ocean was a defining aspect of her life. Shawnna found solace and joy by the sea, and if given the chance, she would have visited the beach every day.
