It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shavay Arnise Henderson, beloved daughter, devoted friend, and cherished member of the community. Shavay was born on June 27, 1988, in St. Louis, and she departed this world on August 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Shavay was a beacon of kindness and strength, known for her vibrant spirit and unwavering compassion. She was the beloved daughter of Shaon Henderson, who stood by her side through every joy and challenge. Shavay's life was enriched by her deep connection to her family, and she now joins her predeceased child, Baby K, in eternal peace. Throughout her life, Shavay was a source of light and inspiration, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She possessed a zest for life that was infectious, always finding ways to lift the spirits of those around her. Her laughter, wisdom, and boundless generosity will be sorely missed but fondly remembered. A celebration of Shavay's life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Life Celebration Metropolitan Area, located at 9480 Lewis and Clark Boulevard. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to gather in remembrance of the beautiful soul that blessed us all. In honor of Shavay's memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. It was Shavay's wish to continue spreading kindness and support to those in need, just as she did throughout her life. As we say our goodbyes, we carry forward the lessons Shavay shared with us—lessons of love, resilience, and hope. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone she encountered.
