Sharon departed this world surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 78. Her life, filled with warmth and grace, began on September 7, 1947, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, where she was born to Willard and Marjorie Shingleton. Sharon grew up in Parkersburg, a community she held dear throughout her life. She attended Parkersburg High, where she not only excelled academically but also formed lifelong friendships that she treasured deeply. Sharon's gentle spirit and kind heart were evident to all who knew her from a young age. In her adult life, Sharon found great joy and fulfillment in her role as a devoted mother to her children, Jeff and his wife Raquel Ward. Her nurturing nature and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family. She took immense pride in watching Jeff grow and thrive, always there with a listening ear and a warm embrace. Sharon's heart was further filled with joy when she became a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchild, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and wisdom. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will undoubtedly live on through her grandchild, who brought her endless happiness and pride. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Stover, and her dear parents, Willard and Marjorie Shingleton, Sharon is now reunited with them in eternal peace. The strength and resilience she displayed through her own life's challenges were an inspiration to all who knew her. Sharon is survived by her loving children, Jeff and Raquel Ward, and her cherished grandchild. She also leaves behind her devoted siblings, Becky, Steve, and Ellen, who stood by her side through life's journey, sharing in both its joys and sorrows. Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her unwavering kindness, her ability to find beauty in the simplest of things, and her dedication to those she loved. She was a beacon of light and warmth to her family and friends, a true testament to the power of love and compassion. As we gather to celebrate Sharon's life, we remember her fondly for her gentle spirit and the love she so freely gave.
