In Loving Memory

SHARON LONDON
September 13, 1964 — August 3, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sharon London, who left this world peacefully at home on August 3, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on September 13, 1964, in the close-knit community of Swanlake, Mississippi, Sharon lived a vibrant life filled with love, strength, and unwavering authenticity.
Sharon was the cherished daughter of Azzie and Elijah London, who have predeceased her along with her beloved sisters, Virgie London Swopshire and Sally London, and brother Vernnie London. Her legacy continues to shine through her surviving siblings, Dorothy Jordan, McElvin London, and Cindy London, who will forever carry the bonds of their shared memories.
A proud graduate of Western Union High School, Class of 1982, Sharon's life journey was marked by her remarkable spirit and unyielding resolve. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember her as a force of nature—a woman of sharp wit, a brilliant mind, and a spine of steel. Sharon was unapologetically herself, teaching those around her the value of authenticity and courage. Her fierce exterior was merely a shell that protected a heart that beat entirely for the people she loved. She was a guiding light, showing us how to stand tall, fight for what matters, and live life with dignity.
Sharon's greatest pride and joy were her children, Tecola London, Terrance London, Travis London, and Alona London, along with her many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Her family was her world, and she dedicated her life to ensuring their happiness and well-being.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Tidewell Hospice for their exceptional care. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
In accordance with Sharon's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her remarkable life. While we gather in private, we invite those whose lives were touched by Sharon's indomitable spirit to remember her in their own, special ways.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity close to Sharon's heart, or to an organization of your choice, in her memory.
Sharon London will be forever missed, yet her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. Her legacy of love, strength, and authenticity will endure in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
