Sharon departed this world on June 29, 2020, in a tragic incident, at the age of 51. She was born on March 22, 1969, in the quaint town of Pulaski, Tennessee, where she spent her formative years surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Sharon was a beacon of kindness and generosity, a woman whose heart knew no bounds. She possessed an innate ability to empathize with others, often placing their needs above her own. Those who knew her well would often remark that she would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need, a testament to her selfless and giving nature. A daughter of the late Peggy Scott and Robert Larry Copeland, Sharon was raised with the values of love, compassion, and resilience. She was cherished by her parents, and their memories together will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew them. Her mother, Ann Scott, survives her, carrying forward the legacy of strength and grace that Sharon embodied so beautifully. Sharon is also survived by her devoted brother, Larry Wayne Copeland, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Larry fondly remembers Sharon as not only his sister but his confidante and greatest supporter. Their sibling connection was one of shared laughter, unyielding support, and mutual respect. A service to honor Sharon's life and legacy will be held on August 6, 2020, at 2:00 PM at the Graveside Gatlin Cemetery.
