Sharon passed away peacefully, surrounded by the warmth and love of her beloved family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Born on July 10, 1957, in the vibrant community of Riverside, California, Sharon was the beloved daughter of Frank and Rosalie Mendez, who predeceased her. From her early years, she embodied the values of love and compassion, which she carried throughout her life. A proud graduate of Hemet High School, Sharon's journey through life was marked by her boundless love for the outdoors and her zest for dancing and baking. Her home was often filled with the delightful aroma of her culinary creations, crafted with love for her family and friends. Sharon found immense joy in her garden, where she tended to her plants with care, each bloom a testament to her nurturing spirit. On August 12, 1985, Sharon united in marriage with the love of her life, Alfredo Mendez. Together, they built a life rich in love and family, a testament to their enduring partnership. Sharon's heart was most full when surrounded by her family, and she was an ever-present source of support and warmth to her children, Raymond and Lauren, who survive her and carry forward her legacy. Her grandchildren, Isaac, Monah, Raymond, and Brittney, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, leaving them with memories they will treasure forever. Sharon's life was a tapestry of love and laughter, woven with the threads of her vibrant spirit and deep dedication to her family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Sharon's beautiful life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 11500 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA, 92505. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Sharon's memory, sharing stories, and celebrating a life well-lived. Though she has departed from this world, Sharon's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
