Sharon's life was anchored in her deep familial bonds and her unwavering dedication to caring for others. She shared a remarkable partnership of 50 years with her devoted husband, James L. McKee, whom she met in 1977 through her aunt Aretha. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter, raising their children Kellie McDaniel Davis (Jeff Davis), Danielle Kay, James Anthony (Tony), Sheronda McKee Dollar (Michael Dollar), James L. Jr (Jay) and Amy McKee, and Eric and Shawna McKee. Sharon's legacy of love continues in her 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Betty Jean Mathis and Melvin (Sonny) Anderson Sr, her twin Sherman Anderson, her brothers Melvin Jr (Ricky), Gerald (Spanky), and Phillip Anderson, and her beloved grandsons, Frederick E Eriven Jr and J McKee. She also mourned the loss of two daughters who passed soon after birth. A dedicated caregiver, Sharon began her nursing journey by earning her CNA in 1971 and pursued further education to achieve her LPN, RN, BSN, and ultimately, a PhD. Her career was marked by her contributions to the nursing board at Phoenix College and Gateway Community College, touching lives through her commitment to healthcare and education. Sharon was also an active member of the NAACP and various nursing organizations, always advocating for equality and excellence in her field. Outside of her professional life, Sharon was a warm, welcoming presence to all who knew her. She loved cooking meals with love for her family and friends, often gathering them in her home for joyous occasions. Sharon cherished the simple pleasures of life, including fishing, camping, and tending to her many beloved collections. Her generosity extended beyond her immediate circle, as she was known for giving tirelessly to those in need and volunteering her time to various causes. Sharon found joy in attending the Women's Expo, where she connected with others who shared her passions. Sharon's legacy is one of love, kindness, and service. She leaves behind cherished memories with her surviving family members, including her best friend Tilly and three beloved cousins.
