Obituary of Sharon Luster In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Sharon Luster, a beacon of love, light, and devotion, who peacefully departed this world on February 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on July 20, 1952, in Bakersfield, California, Sharon graced the world with her wonderful smile and an unwavering spirit of kindness and joy. Sharon was the beloved daughter of the late Carl and Maxine Emerson, who instilled in her the values of compassion and faith. She was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Desirae Luster, and her beloved husband, Lee Prince, with whom she shared 29 beautiful years of marriage. Their union, forged on October 10, 1997, was a testament to enduring love and partnership, as they built a life full of laughter and raised Desirae together. A devoted caretaker for over 40 years, Sharon dedicated her professional life to nurturing and caring for the elderly, serving as a constant source of comfort and strength to those in her charge. Her warmth and empathy left an indelible mark on each life she touched. Beyond her work, Sharon was a prophet and minister with the El Granito Foundation, where she found solace and strength in serving and loving the Lord. Her love for the outdoors and her cherished family was evident in everything she did. Whether exploring nature or spending time with her loved ones, Sharon's presence was a source of light and happiness to all who knew her. Her laughter was infectious, and her caring nature knew no bounds. Sharon is survived by her daughter desirae luster as well as two grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She leaves behind a family who will forever hold her in their hearts and remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 1, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at 705 W Mulberry Ave in Porterville, California. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Sharon Luster Memorial Fund to honor her memory and continue her legacy of care and compassion. As we bid farewell to Sharon, we hold close the message from her family: "Never forgotten." Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her and be touched by her love. May Sharon Luster rest in eternal peace, reunited with those she loved, and forever cherished in our memories.
