Sharon Louise Henry

Sharon Louise Henry, a cherished soul who brought warmth and joy to all who knew her, passed away peacefully at her home on September 13, 2026, with her loving spouse Raymond by her side. Born on July 26, 1946, in Binghamton, New York, Sharon was the beloved daughter of the late Donald and Doris Knapp. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her cherished son, John Rowe; her first husband, Dudley Henry; and her brother, Gerold. She is survived by her devoted children, Andrew Foote of Cortland, New York, and Lisa Calaway of Mulberry, Florida, along with her grandchildren Collin and Katie. Her son Justin Rowe, alongside his wife Amanda, reside in Napanoch, New York, and are blessed with daughters Makayla and McKenna. Sharon's legacy continues through the lives of her late son John's children, Kimberly, Vicktoriah, and Matthew, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her siblings Diane, Phillip, and Geoff, along with his wife Celeste, also survive her, sharing countless memories of love and laughter. Sharon dedicated many years to the family business, GW Knapp and Son Plumbing and Heating in Whitney Point, New York, where she was a valued employee. After retirement, she relocated to Florida, where she enjoyed a life filled with the simple pleasures that brought her happiness. She found joy in crocheting, a craft she embraced with passion, and spent countless cherished moments with her loyal dog, Bentley. A private funeral service will be held to honor Sharon's life. The family plans to hold a celebration of life in the coming weeks, allowing friends and family to gather and remember the remarkable woman Sharon was. Details of this celebration will be shared at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sharon's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring the compassionate and generous spirit that defined her. Sharon Louise Henry will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the boundless love she shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched throughout her lifetime.
