Sharon left this world at an assisted living facility after a brief but courageous battle with COPD, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family, and after a short stay in hospice care. Born on September 2, 1941, in the charming town of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Sharon was the cherished daughter of Elmer "Lefty" Herbst and Elaine Herbst. She grew up in a home filled with laughter, love, and a deep sense of community, values she carried with her throughout her life. Sharon was preceded in death by her loving parents, her dear sister Leila Goetsch, and her brother Ronald Herbst, whose memories she held close to her heart. Sharon was a devoted mother to her daughter, Stephanie Baudhuin, and a proud grandmother to Sarah Henkel and Samantha Tutic. Her love and dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life, and she was a guiding light to them all. Sharon's family extended further to include her beloved great-grandchildren, four in number, who brought immense joy to her later years. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them. Sharon had a rich and fulfilling life, deeply rooted in her community. Known for her warm smile and open heart, she touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness.
