Sharon Krause, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, leaving a legacy of love and dedication that will be cherished forever. Born on March 3, 1939, in Lakewood, Washington, Sharon was the cherished daughter of Vern and Eunice Kampbell. Sharon's life was a testament to the values of love, loyalty, and community. She graduated from Clover Park High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with enduring friendships and meaningful pursuits. On July 10, 1957, Sharon married the love of her life, Edward Krause, with whom she shared a beautiful journey until his passing. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Bo, Greg, Deborah, and Julie, who were the pride and joy of her life. A devoted homemaker, Sharon also found joy in sharing her passion for bowling with others. She worked as a league coordinator, where her organizational skills and infectious enthusiasm inspired countless bowlers. As a prominent member of the South Sound USB board, Sharon was affectionately known as the "den mother" to all league bowlers. Her famous Kandy Kane bowling tournaments were a highlight of the community, bringing joy and camaraderie to all participants. Sharon's kindness and caring nature were the cornerstone of her character. Her family describes her as fierce, loving, fun, and incredibly loyal. She had a knack for making everyone feel special, whether it was through arranging bowling tournaments, selecting thoughtful gifts, or simply lending a listening ear. Sharon's legacy is carried on by her four children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Vern and Eunice, and her devoted husband, Edward. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sharon's memory to the American Cancer Society, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Sharon's life was a shining example of selflessness and love, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
