With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Ballisty on May 6, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on April 19, 1940, in the vibrant city of Seattle, Sharon brought warmth and kindness to each person she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of many. Sharon was the beloved daughter of Ray and Vera Freeman, and cherished sister to Gary (Suzi) Freeman and Joan Guptill, all of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her devoted children, Raymond (Lisa) Graham and Roxanne (Ron) Heller, who were the light of her life. Her legacy of love continues through her dear grandchildren, Mason Heller, Jared Heller, and Travis Heller, and her precious great-grandchildren, Teagan Heller and Seirse Heller, who brought her immense joy and pride. A graduate of Bothell High School in 1958, Sharon possessed an unyielding dedication to her personal and professional endeavors. She enjoyed a rewarding career, contributing her talents to companies such as GTE in Woodinville, DACOR, Edward Jones, and Eddie Bauer. Beyond her work, Sharon's vibrant spirit was reflected in her active participation in the Volvo Car Club and her cherished community at the Washington Cathedral in Redmond, WA. Her love for life was evident in her passions for traveling and embarking on cruises, always eager to explore new horizons. Yet, her heart was most at home when surrounded by family and friends, treasuring each gathering and moment shared. Sharon had a unique gift for making others feel special, often expressing her affection through thoughtful birthday and occasion cards, creating cherished memories that will be fondly remembered. In her journey through life, Sharon was blessed to find love and companionship with her husbands, Dewey Graham Jr. and Vince Ballisty, who were her steadfast partners in love and life. Sharon's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and community. In her honor, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or the Washington Cathedral, organizations that were dear to her heart. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who were a part of Sharon's life. Your love and friendship meant the world to her. As we bid farewell, let us remember her gentle spirit and hear her voice in the wind, reminding us of the beauty and grace she brought into our lives. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at a later date, where we will gather to honor her memory and the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.
