Sharon Ann King, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home on August 19, 2026, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on March 22, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Sharon was the cherished daughter of Dollie and Billy Bob Staley. Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her boundless kindness and infectious sense of humor. Her laughter and warmth touched the hearts of everyone she met, offering a helping hand to those in need and always filling her surroundings with joy and light. For over 51 years, Sharon shared a beautiful life with her husband, Thomas King. Together, they created a loving family and a home filled with laughter and love. Sharon is survived by her son, Albert Haechten, and her treasured grandchildren: Shirley Manning, Tommy Haechten, Cindy Bentley, Amanda Ruwwe, Mackenzie Haechten, Andrew Haechten, and Alexander Haechten. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Iva Manning, William Haechten, Amberle Haechten, Carter Manning, Skylar Haechten, Rhaenyra Haechten, and Anna Ruwwe. Sharon's siblings, Diana Staley, Benda West, and Debra Alonzo, will undoubtedly carry on her legacy of love and compassion. Sharon's life was marked by a deep appreciation for beauty and creativity. As a talented hair stylist, she brought joy and confidence to her clients, leaving a lasting impression with her artistry and genuine care. Her love for owls, birds, and roses was reflected in her home, and her passion for NASCAR and dancing brought her much happiness. She cherished every moment spent with her family, whether baking delicious treats or engaging in arts and crafts. Sharon's home was always a haven of warmth and love, where her family gathered to create cherished memories. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Sharon's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sharon's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring her generous spirit and love for helping others. Sharon Ann King will be remembered as a beacon of love, laughter, and kindness.
