Sharon was the cherished daughter of the late Gilbert and Ozella Blandin, who instilled in her the values of compassion and dedication. She carried these lessons throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A proud graduate of Parker High School in 1983, Sharon’s thirst for knowledge and commitment to excellence were evident in all her endeavors. It was during these formative years that she met the love of her life, Julius Thompson Sr., with whom she shared a beautiful journey of love and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, support, and unwavering devotion.
Sharon’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Julius Thompson Sr., whose love was the cornerstone of her world; her devoted daughter, Julia Blandin Weiner, who resides in Dallas, Texas; and her loving son, Julius Thompson Jr. Sharon was also the proud grandmother of two adoring grandchildren, whose lives were enriched by her nurturing spirit.
In addition to her immediate family, Sharon is survived by two sisters and three brothers, whose bonds with her were a source of strength and joy. Although she was predeceased by her daughter, Julia Blandin Weiner, and her loving husband, Julius Thompson Sr., Sharon’s legacy of love and kindness lives on through her family.

Her warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, and her memory will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Sharon’s life, where family and close friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable journey and the love she so freely gave.
