It is with deep sorrow that we must announce the passing of Sharon Ann Bade, at age 70, she was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, companion, and friend. Sharon passed away on August 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, friends, and dog Shiner.
Born on May 14, 1956, in the heart of Ohio, Sharon was the daughter of Anna L. Ried and Richard H. Hopton. Her early years were filled with the warmth and love of a large family, which included the guidance of her step father Earl F. Baumhardt II, they all set the foundation for the life of kindness and generosity she would go on to lead.
Throughout her life, Sharon embodied the true essence of a giving spirit. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, touching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She brightened every room she entered with her smile and left an indelible mark on all those around her.
Sharon left behind her three children, Dina A.M. Howard, Catherine D. Howard-Kriel, and Phillip B. Bade. Her love for them was immeasurable, she took pride in watching them thrive throughout their time together. Sharon's legacy also continues through her four adored grandchildren, Kristen D. Martin, Bryan B. Henley, Jessica B.S. Henley, and Shelby-Trenton J. Henley, and her four cherished great-grandchildren, Landon L. Booher, Camden M. Martin, Charli Grace Martin, and Skyler James Henley. Each of them carries forward her spirit of kindness and warmth.
She is also survived by her step-dad Earl F. Baumhardt II, three loving siblings, Vicki Shepard, Earl "Butch" Baumhardt III and Dorothy Stafford, who stood by her side through all of life's joys and challenges. Sharon's life was further enriched by her many nephews, one niece, and many close friends whom she considered family.
Sharon was predeceased by both of her parents, Anna Lee Baumhardt and Richard Herschel Hopton and one beloved nephew. While her absence leaves a void, Sharon's family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with them in peace.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who touched Sharon's life with their love, laughter and friendship.
In the words of her family, "Sharon may be gone, but will forever remain in our hearts." Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her. Sharon Ann Bade will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She was also very proud to serve as Grand Auxiliary Madam President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3183 located in Midway Arkansas.
May she now rest in eternal peace, embraced by the same love she so freely gave to all.
