March 19, 1960 — October 15, 2026

It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the passing of Sharon Bourlier Keiffer, who left this world on October 15, 2026. Sharon was born on March 19, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, to her beloved parents, William X. Bourlier and Jean M. Anderson. She was a cherished daughter, loving wife, devoted mother, and a wonderful sister. Sharon's journey through life was marked by her warmth, humor, and unwavering love for those around her. She grew up in Livonia, Michigan, where she graduated from Churchill High School '78 before pursuing her passion for helping others by earning an associate degree in nursing from Schoolcraft College. With determination and dedication, Sharon furthered her education and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. Her career in healthcare was a testament to her caring nature. Sharon served tirelessly at Henry Ford Hospital in the rehabilitation department and later at St. Mary Hospital in Livonia. Her journey in the medical field continued as a case manager and coordinator for Centria, a statewide healthcare provider, where she made a significant impact in the lives of many. In her personal life, Sharon was blessed with two wonderful marriages. She first wed Dennis Konarz in 1983, and together they welcomed a daughter, Anna-Laura, who became the light of Sharon's life. After Dennis's passing in 1998, Sharon found love again and married Robert Keiffer in 2000. Over their 26 years together, Sharon and Robert built a life filled with shared dreams, love, and happiness. Sharon's devotion extended beyond her family and into her community. As an active member of Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi, Michigan, she offered her time and talents generously. Her passion for cooking was legendary, with her Christmas cookies being a highlight among family, church friends, and neighbors. Sharon's love for fashion, gardening, and sunshine brought joy and beauty to her surroundings, mirroring the light she brought to everyone she met. Known for her quick wit and jovial spirit, Sharon had an innate ability to make others feel loved and cherished. She had a special fondness for babies and puppies, always finding joy in their innocence and playfulness. Sharon is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Keiffer, her treasured daughter, Anna-Laura Konarz, her caring brother, William P. Bourlier, and her loving sisters, Karen Waldron, Julie Bourlier, and Jane Halliwell. She is predeceased by her first husband, Dennis Konarz, whose memory she held dear.
