Born on December 12, 1950, in Electra, Texas, Shannon was the cherished daughter of David and Scotty McBee, who welcomed her into the world with love and warmth. Shannon was a vibrant spirit who never knew a stranger. Her infectious laughter and generous spirit made her the life of any gathering. Her caring nature and boundless love for her family and friends were evident in every facet of her life. Shannon had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. On September 27, 1979, Shannon married the love of her life, James "Jim" Broe. Together, they built a life filled with love, adventure, and laughter, raising four children. Shannon leaves behind her husband Jim, her three children Sheri Sword-B. Smith, Victoria Eckert, and James Broe II, and her treasured grandchildren Lane Barefoot, Maddox Beason, Shyann & Savannah Smith, and Allison & Chase Eckert. Her family was her pride and joy, and she delighted in spending time with them, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Shannon was predeceased by her beloved parents, David and Scotty McBee, her dear daughter Kathryn Beason, and her grandson James Broe III whose memories she held close to her heart every day. Her aunt, Pat Smartt, also survives her, carrying forward the loving legacy of their family. Shannon D. Broe lived a life full of love, laughter, and selflessness.
