It is with deep sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Shane Link Marshall, who left this world on August 27, 2026. Shane was born on June 5, 1994, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, to loving parents Link Van Marshall and Isabella Alexander Marshall. Though his journey was cut short, Shane's life was filled with love, laughter, and a dedication to serving others.
Shane's innate kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Known for his infectious humor and unwavering loyalty, he was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help a friend in need or bring a smile to someone’s face with his quick wit. His love for family and friends was boundless, and he held them close to his heart throughout his life.
He served his country with honor and distinction as a member of the United States Air Force, dedicating three years to protecting the freedoms we all hold dear. During his service, Shane earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, reflecting his commitment to duty and country.
Shane's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved him. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Link and Isabella, and his cherished grandparents, Van and Janae Marshall, as well as Crystal Trumps. His legacy lives on through his surviving family: his beloved brother, Cody Alexander Marshall, and his dear sisters, Elizabeth Janae Cowen, Courtney Clenae Stephenson, Courey Buran Stacey, and Carley. Shane also leaves behind eight adoring nieces and four nephews, each of whom he loved deeply, as well as his aunts and uncles, James and Crisanta Marshall, and Zane and Trish Marshall. His memory will forever be cherished by countless friends and family who had the privilege of knowing him.
