It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shaana C. Deere, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on September 23, 2026. Born on February 5, 1984, in Chicago, Illinois, Shaana was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Her life, though far too short, was filled with laughter, warmth, and a deep affection for those she held dear. Shaana was the cherished daughter of Zarka Garrott and Timberly Deere. Grandparents Marion Garrott and Jimmy Alexander She shared a special bond with her parents and Grandparents , who survive her and will carry her memory forward with love and devotion. Preceding her in death was her beloved brother, Cordero Deere, whom she missed dearly and is now reunited with. Shaana leaves behind her precious children, Anthony Williams Jr., Raven Moore, and Danielle Noel, who were the center of her universe. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love for them were evident in all she did. She was also a beloved sister to Teraine Jackson and Chanteux Deere, and a devoted godmother to Zokiyah, Jaylen, Javion, and Harmony. Her extended family, including a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. A woman of many talents, Shaana pursued a diverse education. After completing high school, she embarked on a journey of learning that led her to become a certified nursing assistant, and attended a culinary school. She was currently enrolled in Ultimate Medical Academy Her passion for cooking was well-known, as she delighted in preparing meals for family and friends, bringing them together with the comfort and joy of her culinary creations. Shaana's love for life extended beyond her professional accomplishments. She found immense joy in listening to music, spending time with loved ones, and embracing the tranquility of nature. She often dreamt of traveling the world with her children in an RV, exploring new horizons and creating unforgettable memories. A celebration of Shaana's life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, located at 80 N Orchard, Park Forest, IL 60466. Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor, to share stories and celebrate the beautiful spirit The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. As they reflect on the life of their dear Shaana, they take comfort in knowing that her legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will forever be missed.
