SEAN STEPHENS KING

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sean Stephens King, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend. Born on March 7, 1972, in Birmingham, Alabama, Sean left this world on September 13, 2026, at his home surrounded by his beloved wife Rachael, his sister Sandi, and his loyal dogs, Sierra and Ziggy. Sean was the beloved son of Jesse and Janet King and is predeceased by his mother, Janet Stephens King. He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Rachael, his cherished daughter, Tina, his siblings Kam (Katherine) and Sandi, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt who will forever hold him dear in their hearts. Sean and Rachael's love story was one for the ages. They were married on April 20, 2024, in a joyful ceremony in Las Vegas officiated by none other than Elvis himself. Their union was a testament to their shared spirit of adventure and deep affection for one another. A lifelong learner, Sean attended Walton High School and pursued further studies at North Georgia Tech and Chattahoochee Tech. His brilliance shone through in his career where he excelled in electronic diagnosis, repair, and manufacturing. Sean had an uncanny ability to take anything apart and put it back together, whether it was a delicate electronic device or a complex vehicle. Sean was a man of many passions. He attended every concert he could and even enjoyed playing the guitar, keyboard and his harmonica. He found joy in the great outdoors—fishing, camping and anything that included his furry friends. Above all, Sean was known for his kindness, generosity, and an unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. His extraordinary ability to touch lives without hesitation left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Sean was truly an amazing, brilliant, and loving man. A celebration of Sean's remarkable life will be held on September 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Bohn Park Shelter in Lyons, Colorado. His family is still working on details for this celebration and will update this page as we know more. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that was close to Sean's heart. Sean Stephens King will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
