Scottie L. Bartholomew

Scottie Lynn Bartholomew, a beloved son, brother, and friend, left this world on October 13, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on June 24, 1963, in the close-knit community of Bolivar, Tennessee. Scottie brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. Scottie was the cherished son of Jerry Vaughn Bartholomew and Mary Nell Walker. He was predeceased by his father, Jerry Bartholomew and step fathers Hollis Puckett and Hubert Walker as well as his brother, Chris Puckett, whose memories he carried in his heart throughout his life. Scottie is survived by his devoted mother, Mary Nell Walker, as well as a stepmother Dianne Marchbanks. Scottie is also survived by his brothers, Kirk Bartholomew, Mitchell Puckett, Jeremy Bartholomew, Andy Parish, Chris Parish, Scott Parish and step brothers Gary Walker, Larry Walker, and Brian Walker. He also leaves behind his three loving sisters, Kelly Puskas, Sherry Lachney, and Wanda Matheny. Though Scottie leaves no children, he has nieces and nephews he cherished very much. Scottie was a proud alumni of Bolivar Central High School. Scottie cherished the friendships he formed and the lessons he learned during his formative years. His passions were many, but his love for football (especially University of Tennessee) stood out! Scottie also had a green thumb and a nurturing spirit, finding peace in tending to his plants In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor and celebrate Scottie's life. Scottie will be deeply missed and forever remembered!
