Scott Lee Mohr

In loving memory of Scott Lee Mohr, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us too soon on August 27, 2026. Born on October 1, 1970, in Clinton, Iowa, Scott lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. He was the beloved son of the late Scott and Karen Douglas, who raised him with the values of kindness and generosity that he carried throughout his life. Scott's early years were spent in Clinton, where he graduated from Cache High School in 1988. His passion for learning led him to continue his education in Lawton, Oklahoma, where he pursued a career in HVAC, completing his studies in 2024. His professional life was marked by dedication and excellence, culminating in a fulfilling career that he cherished deeply. On August 19, 2017, Scott married Rebecca, the love of his life. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared nine wonderful years of marriage. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them. Scott was a devoted father to their son, Kash, and eagerly awaited the arrival of their new baby, expected in March 2027. He was a proud father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his daughter, Brittaney, her husband, Matthew, and their precious daughter, Adalynn. Scott's life was filled with the joys of nature and the outdoors. Whether fishing, camping, hunting, or hiking, he found peace and happiness in the embrace of the natural world. His generous heart and infectious smile would light up any room, and he was known for his sense of humor and adventurous spirit. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Scott was often the first to try new things, always encouraging others to join him on his journeys. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his wife, Rebecca, his son, Kash, his daughter, Brittaney, and her family, his brother, Glenn, and sister-in-law, Lori, his sister, Annie, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his loyal companion, Boo-Boogoti. A celebration of Scott's life will be held on September 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the First Church of God, located at 1905 NW Smith Ave, Lawton, OK 73505. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to join in honoring his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice or to support the family as they prepare to welcome a new baby in March.
