Scott Larrentree

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Scott Larrentree, who left this world peacefully at home on August 7, 2026. Scott was born on August 23, 1971, in Lake Worth, TX, and throughout his 54 years, he touched the lives of many with his vibrant spirit, unwavering kindness, and unique sense of humor. Scott was the beloved son of Carolyn Merrell, who predeceased him. Also proceeded him in death are sons Dalton Counts, Kyle Larrentree, and step-father Mike Merrell. He is survived by his loving wife, Angel Larrentree, whom he met in 2004 and married in 2013. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. His children, Scott Larrentree and wife Emily and Shae Larrentree and partner Jay Carnell, and his grandson, Remy Carnell. His little sister, Traci Colucci who remembers the countless memories they shared growing up. Along with numerous nieces and nephews and some lifelong friends. Scott had an innate ability to work with his hands, excelling in various jobs throughout his life. He was known as the go-to person for fixing anything, even if it meant a little time at "YouTube University," as he liked to joke. His talents were matched only by his generosity; Scott was always eager to lend a hand to those in need. His passions included a profound love of music, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends. Scott found peace and joy in fishing, kayaking, and riding motorcycles. Ever curious, he was known for his vast array of "useless knowledge," always ready with an answer to even the most trivial questions. Scott's personality was larger than life. He was full of sarcasm, wit, and a genuine sense of humor that endeared him to everyone he met. His laughter was infectious, and he took great pleasure in making others smile. Though Scott's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, his legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever be cherished by all who knew him. He will be missed dearly, but his memory will live on in the stories and smiles he left behind.
