It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Saul Tarin, who left this world on May 3, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on July 28, 1940, in the sun-drenched city of Chihuahua, Mexico, Saul’s journey through life was one marked by love, laughter, and a steadfast dedication to his family and community. Saul was the beloved husband of Esperanza, with whom he shared over 64 years of marriage—a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a rich tapestry of family life, raising three cherished daughters—Sonia, Lorena, and Patricia. His legacy continues through his devoted son-in-law Luis, and his treasured grandchildren, Vanessa, Adrian, Daniel, and Thomas, as well as his granddaughter-in-law, who brought him great joy. Saul is also survived by his brother Pancho, sister Cuca, and a host of nieces and nephews who all held a special place in his heart. After dedicating 31 years of diligent service to Ball-Foster Corporation, Saul retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and loyalty. His colleagues remember him not only for his strong work ethic but also for the warmth and humor he brought to the workplace. A man of deep faith, Saul served as an usher at St. John The Baptist Church, where he was known for his welcoming smile and kind heart. His commitment to his faith was evident in his regular visits to the San Juan Capistrano Mission, where he lit candles in remembrance and hope for his loved ones. Saul found great joy in simple pleasures, whether it was the excitement of a casino visit, the thrill of traveling with his family, or sharing laughter and stories with those he loved. His great sense of humor and warm spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. He had an uncanny ability to make those around him feel valued and loved in his own unique way. Saul lived a simple but profoundly full life, always prioritizing the well-being and happiness of his family. He was a loving provider and protector, whose legacy of love and laughter will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. A celebration of Saul’s life will be held at St. John The Baptist Church, where his family and friends will gather to honor a man whose life was a gift to us all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests lighting a candle in Saul’s memory, a gesture that reflects his enduring faith and love. Saul Tarin’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
