Sarah Renford-Daniels

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Renford-Daniels, a beloved wife, sister, grandmother, and friend, who left this world peacefully at home on August 21, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on May 21, 1934, in Tarboro, North Carolina, Sarah was the cherished daughter of Phillip Daniels and Carrie Lee (Renford) Daniels. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, William Daniels. Sarah's life was a testament to love, warmth, and dedication. In 1950, she married the love of her life, Joe Daniels, and together they built a beautiful and loving family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted husband, Joe, her sister, Helen Crenshaw, her eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. A proud graduate of Tarboro High School, Sarah moved to Philadelphia, where she became a cornerstone of her community. While she held various jobs throughout her life, her most cherished role was that of a homemaker, nurturing her family with unwavering love and care. Her home was always filled with the enticing aroma of her wonderful cooking, as she delighted in preparing meals for family and friends alike. Sarah had a special place in her heart for her feline companions, and she took great joy in caring for stray cats in her neighborhood. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her family, as she possessed the rare gift of making everyone she encountered feel loved and welcomed. Her radiant smile was a beacon of warmth and kindness. The family will hold a private funeral ceremony to honor and celebrate Sarah's life. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Sarah's memory are encouraged to donate to a charity of their choice. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their kind words, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Sarah will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As her family lovingly expressed, "You will forever be in our hearts."
