April 18, 1946 — May 7, 2026

Sarah Jane Barrall, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2026. Born on April 18, 1946, in Newport News, Virginia, Sarah lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Sarah was the beloved daughter of Floyd and Robbie (Davis) Barrall, who predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Sterling Willhoit and Alvin Barrall, her sister Martha Barrall, and her beloved grandson, Dylan Sillett. Sarah's family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She is survived by her loving daughters, Kimberly Wolf and Jaime (Jim) Sillett, brother, Lewis Barrall, and her devoted grandson Devon Davies, Alec Marushak, and Tyler Smythe. Sarah also leaves behind a close-knit extended family that includes her first cousin, Natalie Donate, who was as dear to her as a sibling, and her nephews, Brett, Ryan, and Kyle Barrall. Her legacy continues through her three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will carry forward her spirit and love. Sarah's educational journey began at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, where she graduated in 1964. Her career blossomed at the Holiday Inn in Bethlehem, where she worked diligently in housekeeping, eventually rising to the esteemed position of Head Inspectress before her retirement. Her work ethic, kindness, and attention to detail left a lasting impression on her colleagues and guests alike. Outside of her professional life, Sarah found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in helping her daughter Jaime tend to her garden, ensuring every plant flourished under her care. The aroma and joy of holiday meals were brighter with Sarah's loving contributions, as her family gathered around a table filled with delicious food and laughter. She especially treasured the moments spent with her cousin Natalie, sharing stories and laughter while reliving their childhood memories through old photographs. Sarah's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to St. Luke's Hospice for their unwavering kindness and compassion during the final month of her life. Their support provided comfort and peace, for which the family is profoundly thankful. In honor of Sarah's life, a private celebration will be held, where family and friends will gather to share memories and stories, continuing the legacy of her love and kindness. Sarah Jane Barrall will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, dear Sarah. Your life was a blessing, and your memory a treasure.
