Sarah Emma Jane Fulton

Sarah Emma Jane Fulton was born on June 23, 1944, the first child of Mr. John L. Fulton and Mrs. Luecille Nelson Fulton in Williamsburg County, Kingstree, S.C. She transitioned out of time into eternity on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at her home after a long illness. Sarah received her education in Williamsburg County Schools. She graduated from Tomlinson High School in Kingstree, SC. After graduating, she moved to Bridgeport, Conn. for a while, then to South Florida and finally she relocated back to Kingstree where she lived, worked and raised her only child. She was employed at the Spring Maid Hotel in Myrtle Beach, SC for 30 plus years. She also worked at Holiday Sands Hotel and the Polynesian Hotel. She retired in 2016. Her life was productive. Sarah was a kind, quiet, friendly person. She always got along well with others. She also loved taking care of children. Mr. Bubha Hammet is one of the children she helped raise. Sarah received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. She was baptized in water at Miracle Temple Bible Center in 2025. She enjoyed attending service whenever her health allowed. She is preceded in death by three of her brothers Ben Fulton; James Fulton and Nathaniel Fulton. Left to grow from the seeds of her life are her only child Jametta Rhonda Fulton Dross(Donald); 3 sisters, Mary Fulton, Martha Fulton, and Josie Fulton; 1 brother Mr. Oliver Fulton(Justine) all from Kingstree, SC; 2 step grandchildren, Shayetha Holcomb of Georgetown SC and Javnia Holcomb of Virginia Beach; 3 grandchildren, 2 special nieces, 4 nephews, cousins and other family connections. Sarah will be greatly missed, as during her life she was lovingly adored and appreciated.
