Born on April 9, 1942, in the small town of Darby, Pennsylvania, Sarah was a beacon of warmth and love in the lives of all who knew her. She was the cherished daughter of Theresa and was preceded in death by her beloved family members: Theresa Freeman Burbage, John C. Guy, Theresa L. Guy, Latoyya S. Palmer, and William Wilson. Guy, Keyanna T. Guy, and Keisha F. Smith. Her familial embrace extended to her siblings, Knowlington Burbage and Antoine Wilson, and her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other relatives, who affectionately knew her as a guiding light in their lives. Sarah was a woman of many talents and passions. She was educated in her hometown, attending and graduating from high school in Darby, where she formed friendships that would last a lifetime. Her career path was as diverse as it was dynamic; she worked as a barmaid, eventually becoming a bar owner, and later managing a bingo hall where her organizational skills and ability to bring people together shone brightly. Sarah married Johnny Guy early in life, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. Later in life, she found love again with William H. Clark, with whom she shared many joyous years. Her marriages were a testament to her belief in love and companionship, and she embraced these relationships with her characteristic warmth and devotion. A woman of deep faith, Sarah attended St. John's Baptist Church, where she was an active member and found solace and community. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through challenges and triumphs alike. Sarah's personality was as radiant as her smile. Known for her pleasant disposition and warm embrace, she had an innate ability to make everyone feel loved and cared for. Her home was a haven for social and family events, where she delighted in cooking and entertaining, often found dancing joyously with those she cherished. Sarah's love for travel and casinos added a hint of adventure to her life, and she treasured these moments of exploration and fun. As we celebrate the life of Sarah D.
