Sarah, aged 46, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Her departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Born on August 4, 1979, in Mitchell, South Dakota, Sarah was a cherished daughter of Michael James Bailey and Linda Marie Bailey. She spent her early years in Mitchell, where she cultivated lifelong friendships and a deep connection to her community. After graduating from Mitchell High School in 1997, Sarah pursued her passion for helping others by studying Human Services at Dakota Wesleyan University. Sarah's life was a testament to her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—baking with her children, Evan and Lila, tending to her vibrant garden, and sharing heartfelt conversations with her siblings, Rebecca Ann Carter and Stephvon Bailey of Sioux Falls. Her love for photography allowed her to capture the essence of family life, creating memories that will be cherished forever. In her free time, Sarah devoted herself to her community, volunteering at local events with a heart full of generosity. Her home was often filled with the soothing sounds of acoustic music, a reflection of her peaceful nature and love for quiet evenings spent with family. Sarah's presence brought comfort and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her genuine kindness and deep empathy made everyone feel valued and understood. Sarah is survived by her beloved children, Evan and Lila Bailey of Mitchell, her devoted parents, Michael and Linda Bailey, as well as her siblings Rebecca and Stephvon. Her legacy of love extends to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will carry her memory in their hearts. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Sarah's life, in accordance with her family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sarah's memory to a charity of your choice or a community organization that reflects Sarah's commitment to helping others. Sarah Bailey's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, kindness, and grace. She leaves behind a legacy that will inspire those who knew her to live with the same gentle strength and compassion that she embodied every day.
