In Loving Memory
Santa Molina
April 15, 1938 — May 16, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Santa Molina, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who peacefully transitioned from this life on May 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Santa was born on April 15, 1938, in the vibrant town of Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, to her beloved parents, Augustina and Leopoldo Colon. Her life was a testament to love, joy, and the strength of family bonds.
Santa's life was a beautiful symphony of laughter, music, and the gentle rustle of flowers in bloom. Her love for music and dancing was infectious, often bringing her family together in joyous celebration. Whether it was a simple family gathering or a grand celebration, Santa was always the heart of the party, reminding everyone of the importance of togetherness and the happiness found in shared moments.
A devoted wife to Luis Molina, they shared 38 beautiful years of marriage, a union filled with love, understanding, and unwavering support. Together, they built a loving home that became a sanctuary for their children and grandchildren, a place where love was freely given and memories were made.
Santa is survived by her loving husband, Luis Molina, and her cherished children: sons Richard DeJesus and his wife Cheese, Jerry DeJesus and his wife Eileen, and daughters Emilia Hurd and her husband William, and Nilda DeJesus. She was also a cherished stepmother to Julio and Cheo DeJesus, and Jorge and Daniel Molina. Her legacy continues through her nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, each a testament to the enduring love and strength she imparted.
Santa had a passion for traveling, exploring new places, and embracing the beauty of the world around her. Her wanderlust was matched only by her love for flowers, which she cultivated with care, transforming her garden into a vibrant tapestry of colors that delighted all who visited.
Her family and friends will forever remember Santa as a beacon of love and joy, a woman whose gentle spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
A celebration of Santa's life will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and find comfort in the love she left behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Santa's name, so that her legacy of love and giving may continue to touch lives far and wide.
Santa Molina will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she gave so freely in life.
