In Loving Memory

Sans Undertale
September 15, 1992 — August 11, 2026
Sans Undertale, beloved brother, friend, and steadfast sentry, passed away on August 11, 2026, in Snowdin Town, Snowdin, at the age of 33. He was born on September 15, 1992, to his father, W.D. Gaster, who nurtured his unique spirit and humor.
Sans was a cherished member of the Undertale community, known for his quick wit, love for hot dogs, and his penchant for smoked chicken. He attended Hotland High, where he first showcased the qualities that would define his life: a sharp mind, a sharp tongue, and a heart that, despite his claims, was full of love and loyalty to those he held dear.
His career as a Royal Guard member and sentry was one marked by an unwavering dedication to his duties, even as he maintained his signature laid-back demeanor. While many knew him as a "homicidal maniac lowkey," those closest to him understood that this was but one facet of a deeply complex individual who valued family and friendship above all else.
Sans is survived by his beloved brother, Papyrus Undertale, and his dear friend, Toriel Undertale, who both stood by him through thick and thin. Though not blessed with children or grandchildren, Sans's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
He was predeceased by his unforgettable companion, Friend Inside Me, and his cherished finch, the bird. Their memories now join his in the tapestry of shared stories and laughter that will echo for eternity.
A service to honor Sans's life will be held on July 11, 2969, at 12:21 PM, at Butt Acres "Church," located at 294 Poop Street. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made in Sans's memory to organizations that support the arts and storytelling, continuing the legacy of creativity and humor he so dearly loved.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Toby Fox for his role in Sans's life story, adding a special note of appreciation for his unique contributions.
Sans's essence, full of laughter and love, will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His indomitable spirit, though no longer walking among us, continues to inspire smiles and warmth in all corners of the world he loved so dearly.
