Sanford House, beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2026, after courageously battling cancer for several years. Born on March 27, 1975, in Grenada, Mississippi, Sanford's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. Sanford was the cherished son of John and Joanna House, who predeceased him, alongside his oldest sister, Teressa Yates. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Ann Mae House, with whom he shared a beautiful life and a deep, abiding love. Together, they built a strong family foundation, raising their children: Gwinnett Jones, Sanford Jr., JaStevan, and Andre House. Sanford was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life. A man of steadfast work ethic, Sanford dedicated 35 years to the Ford Motor Company, where his commitment and expertise were respected and admired by colleagues and friends alike. Outside of work, Sanford was a man of simple pleasures and profound faith. An active member of Pine Hill Ministries, his Sundays were often spent fishing, a passion he pursued with the same joy and determination he brought to all aspects of his life. Sanford was known far and wide for his warm smiles and big hugs, characteristics that endeared him to everyone he met. He carried an infectious positivity, always eager to brighten the day of those around him. His kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on his community, and his legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know him. In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Sanford's remarkable life and the love he gave so freely.
