Sandy Pressley

December 11, 1958 — June 20, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Sandy Pressley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, on June 20, 2026. Sandy was born on December 11, 1958, to Joseph and Ann Pressley, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Joseph Danny Pressley. Sandy's life was a testament to love, dedication, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him. Sandy shared a beautiful life with his cherished wife, Karen Pressley, whom he married on April 16, 1982. Together, they celebrated 44 years of love and companionship, building a family that became his pride and joy. Sandy was a devoted father to Christopher, Joshua, and Lori, and a proud grandfather to Junior, Shylar, Gabriel, Marella, Alaynah, Aaliyah, and Karim. His legacy of love and strength continues in the hearts of his grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and inspiration for him. Sandy is also survived by his brother, Jack Pressley, and his sisters, Jolene Deal, Judy Dawley, Joyce Congo (Eric), and Jan Siskey (Randy), along with numerous nieces and nephews who fondly remember their uncle's warmth and humor. A skilled over-the-road truck driver, Sandy dedicated more than four decades to his career, beginning in 1980 until he was unable to continue due to illness in December 2024. His work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of colleagues and friends across the miles he traveled. Sandy had a passion for the great outdoors, finding solace and joy in hunting and fishing. He cherished the tranquility of nature and the camaraderie of sharing these experiences with loved ones. He was known for his infectious smile, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his ability to forge friendships wherever he went. Sandy had a unique gift for making people feel valued and respected, a trait that endeared him to all who knew him. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate hospice nurses who provided exceptional care and comfort to Sandy over the past two years. Their kindness and dedication brought peace to Sandy and his family during a challenging time. A celebration of Sandy's life will be held to honor his memory and the love he shared with all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Sandy's honor, as a tribute to his generous spirit and desire to help others. Sandy Pressley will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his legacy of love, kindness, and strength lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
