With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Sandy L. Boise, who departed this world on June 27, 2026, after valiantly battling illness. Sandy was born on January 8, 1954, in the quaint town of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she embarked on a life journey filled with love, laughter, and an enduring warmth that touched everyone she encountered. Sandy was the cherished daughter of Bart Starr and Michelle Boise, who instilled in her the values of kindness and compassion. She shared a special bond with her sister, Jennifer Davis, who preceded her in death, leaving behind cherished memories of sisterhood and shared adventures. Though Sandy's journey did not include a professional career, her life's work was evident in her role as a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind two loving sons who were the center of her world and her ex-husband, Scott, with whom she shared nine years of marriage. Her legacy continues through her three adoring grandchildren, who carry forward her gentle spirit and loving nature. Sandy was a proud graduate of Lancaster Pennsylvania High School, Class of 1972, where she forged lifelong friendships and began cultivating her grace and empathy that would define her life. Her friends and family often recall her radiant smile and infectious laughter, which could light up even the darkest of days. She was a beacon of friendliness, known for her ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. A lover of life and people, Sandy's hobbies and interests revolved around spreading joy and kindness. She was a nurturing soul with an endless capacity for love, always ready to lend a listening ear or a comforting hug. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the sound of laughter. A service to celebrate Sandy's life will be held on July 7, 2026, at 11:28 PM at Lancaster St. Mary's Church, located in her beloved hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This gathering will be a time to honor the beautiful soul that Sandy was, a woman who never hurt anybody and loved everyone around her. Sandy's family extends a heartfelt invitation to all who knew her to join in commemorating her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sandy's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others. As we say goodbye to Sandy, we hold onto the memories of her warm smile and the love she shared so generously. Her family shares this special message: "Rest in peace to this beautiful soul." May she find eternal peace and comfort, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
