She had an extraordinary gift for hospitality, opening her home and kitchen to family and friends for countless gatherings and celebrations. Her culinary talents were unmatched, with a particular fondness for seafood, delighting in the preparation of lobster, mussels, clams, shrimp, and a variety of crabs. Even with limited ingredients, she could create meals that nourished both the body and soul. As a mother and grandmother, Sandy embraced her roles with immense pride and joy. Her children and nine grandchildren, who lovingly called her Cha Cha Nonnie, were the light of her life. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, embracing all who were fortunate to know her.
