Sandra Ann Glore

Sandra, born on December 27, 1947, in the heart of Utica, New York, graced this world with her presence and left it on September 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her journey began as the cherished daughter of Angelo (Morgan) and Ann Moracco, who predeceased her but whose values and love she carried throughout her life. Sandra's life was a tapestry woven with love, art, and a profound devotion to family. She married the love of her life, Jodie K. Glore, on a beautiful day, June 1, 1969, at The United States Military Academy West Point. Together, they shared 57 wonderful years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Their union was blessed with two loving children: their son, Jodie Glore Jr., and their daughter, Kylie Menteer, who, along with her husband Dan, brought joy and happiness to Sandra's life. A beloved grandmother, Sandra's heart overflowed with pride and adoration for her grandchildren: Skylar, Cole, Porter, and Miller Menteer. Her eyes sparkled with joy whenever she spoke of them, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Sandra's siblings, Pam Moracco and Mike Moracco, along with his wife Mary and their daughter Morgan, were also central figures in her life. Pam was the ultimate travel companion and the two shared many wonderful adventures together traveling the world. Sandra was also a guiding light to her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a wide circle of friends who she considered family. Sandra's love for art and cooking was as profound as her love for those around her. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcomed and cherished, her kindness and sincerity leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. Even on her toughest days, Sandra's radiant smile never wavered. She possessed an extraordinary gift for pushing aside her own pain to bring joy and comfort to others, embodying a spirit of resilience and selflessness that inspired everyone around her. A service to celebrate Sandra's remarkable life will be held on September 13, 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Mathew’s in Naples, FL, in her memory. They wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who reached out, visited, and shared kind words and memories, honoring the incredible person that Sandra was. Sandra's legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering loyalty to her family will forever be remembered and cherished. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched, a beacon of light and love that will never fade.
